CHICAGO -- Competing against some of the top runners at the NCAA level, University of St. Francis' Tyler Anderson put together a strong NAIA showing of his own to snag Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week accolades, the league office announced on Wednesday morning.

Anderson placed 27th out of 144 competitors from the likes of eight NCAA I schools, two from NCAA II and three NAIA squads at the University of Notre Dame (Ind.) National Catholic Invite on Friday.  The top NAIA individual finisher, the junior ran the 8K course in 25:28.9.

As a team, USF placed seventh among 13 squads.
