Rose Mwaro has repeated as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) NAIA Academic All-District softball selection and was joined by teammates
Zoe Ditter and
Isabella Landeros this year following the announcement of the academic team on Wednesday.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically and boast no less than a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, while performing at an elite athletic level. Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
Mwaro closed out her career as a .339 hitter with 113 hits in 124 game played over her three seasons. She also registered 64 runs, 40 runs batted in and a .382 on-base percentage.
A starter in 120 games, the graduate senior outfielder finished with a career .966 fielding percentage. In her three seasons of competition, she accumulated 78 putouts and assisted in 13 outs from right field.
An all-league first team selection in 2025, Mwaro led USF in runs scored with 21 and ranked second in doubles, RBIs and sacrifice bunts. She also finished among the team leaders in batting average (.365), hits (46), total bases (56) and on-base percentage (.396).
Mwaro also claimed NAIA Scholar-Athlete and CCAC All-Academic team recognition earlier this month, as well. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Media Arts last spring, Mwaro graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration earlier this month.
Ditter and Landeros, meanwhile, each gained the recognition for the first time this season. It is their third academic honor each this year, having both claimed NAIA Scholar-Athlete and CCAC All-Academic accolades earlier in May.
Ditter, a graduate senior catcher was a career .240 hitter over her three seasons at St. Francis. She appeared in all but 23 games (83 of 106) during that span of time and collected 25 hits.
Ditter successfully fielded 180 of her 184 chances defensively for a .978 fielding percentage, while totaling an impressive 13 assists from the centerfield position.
Ditter earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education last spring, and is planning on graduating with her Master's degree in Teaching and Learning later this summer.
Landeros, a senior catcher, also produced solid numbers for the Saints from behind the plate during the 2025 season. She served as the USF student body president, as well, this year, and earn Dean's List accolades in three of her six semesters. On the field, her statistics included a .348 batting average, 49 hits, 19 runs, 3 doubles, 4 triples, 1 home runs, 17 runs batted in and a .447 slugging percentage.

Landeros started 89 games thus far in her career and played in 122. She has thrown out a total of 18 potential base stealers during her first three seasons as a Saint.
Having earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology earlier this month, Landeros will return to the Saints next season as a graduate senior and will begin work towards a Master's degree in Social Work.
St. Francis, which qualified for the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament after finishing in second place in league standings with a 12-4 record, finished the season at 20-20 overall.
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions – NCAA I, II and III and NAIA. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced next month.
