SPRING ARBOR, Mich. --- Rood Schnaider authored one goal and two assists to lead Spring Arbor University (Mich.) to a 4-0 victory over the University of St. Francis men's soccer team Saturday night.
The Cougars (2-0-1) delivered three of their goals in the opening 25 minutes, scoring first at the 7:36 mark before netting a pair of goals just 78 seconds apart in the 23rd and 24th minutes. Â Â Schnaider provided assists on the first and fourth goals and produced SAU's second goal.
The only goal in the second half came at the 64:15 mark.
After being outshot 10-3 in the first 45 minutes, the Fighting Saints (0-2) held a 9-6 advantage in that category in the closing half. USF had all four of its shots on goal after the break, where it held a 4-2 advantage over Spring Arbor.

Anthony Derka and
Pablo Rubio Guerra, both of whom had a pair each.
Notes: The shutout was the first one of the season against the Saints … St. Francis makes Stop No. 3 on its season-opening four-match road trip next Saturday when it heads to Wisconsin to face Beloit College.
