NORMAL, Ill. --- Playing its second tournament in as many weekends, the University of St. Francis men's golf team placed 24th at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational to close out the two day event on Saturday.

Nolan Weis notched the other sub 80 round with his 78 the first day, but had an 87 on Saturday to place third among Saint finishers with a two day score of 165. Brandyn Collins was one stroke better at 164 (81-83).

Rounding out USF's scoring was John Weis with his 83 on Friday and 85 on Saturday for a 168 total.

Host Illinois Wesleyan captured the meet title at Ironwood Golf Course with a six over par 582. That was 22 strokes better than the Titans' next closest challengers, Aurora University and Webster University, both of whom finished at 604. St. Francis shot a 652 over the two days.

Webster's Will Hocker gained medalist honors with his four under par 140. He was one of only four golfers to shoot below par for the tournament. A total of 25 teams and 130 golfers made up the field.
