ST.LOUIS, MO. --- The University of St. Francis volleyball team extended their winning streak to six games on Friday afternoon, dominating from the start in matches against Friends College and Iowa Wesleyan. USF swept both matches, allowing their opponent to get above 20 points in a set just once.

Lauren Stefanski and Desiree Anderson led the way offensively, tallying 16 kills each.

How It Happened vs. Friends

In the opening set, the Saints battled back from behind, using an 8-0 run to ultimately take set one 25-17.

Set two saw USF go on a 10-2 run to open up a big advantage. Stephanie Woods had three kills to help power the run.

Woods finished off the 25-12 USF set two win with a kill.

USF opened set three on a 12-5 run to build up a large advantage.

Friends battled back to force extra points, but USF was able to close out the sweep 27-25 with a block by Woods and Peyton Baird.
How it Happened vs. Iowa Wesleyan

Trailing 17-15 late in set one, USF went on a 10-1 run with Monfre and Gabbby Paelmo serving to take the set 25-18.

The Saints dominated once again in set two, winning 25-15. Asia Owens finished off the second set victory with a kill.

USF jumped out to an 11-3 lead early in set three and never looked back, scoring four of the final five points to close out the sweep 25-15.
