PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. --- An off attacking night for the University of St. Francis women's volleyball team led to a 25-16, 25-17, 25-23 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference setback to Trinity Christian College to close out the regular season on Thursday night.
USF (15-17, 11-7 CCAC) managed just a .104 hitting clip, while Trinity Christian (9-21, 5-13) finished the match at .278. Only two players registered more than nine kills on the night for either side with the Trolls boasting both with 10 kills each from

Brooke Veldman.
In the opening set, the two teams went back and forth during the early part of the contest, racking up ten ties and four lead changes before Trinity Christian closed out the set with a surprising 10-0 run. Four aces and four kills by TCC fueled the big surge.

Set 3 was a carbon copy of the early part of the opening set except extended with ten ties and six lead changes. USF held a 21-20 lead late only to have Trinity Christian again use a final push late to win 25-23.
