Colleen Corbett

Colleen Corbett joined the Fighting Saints in January of 2023 season as a graduate assistant coach for the volleyball team.  The 2024-25 season will mark Corbett’s second year as the graduate assistant.

Corbett comes to University of St. Francis (IL) from Oak Lawn High School where she currently serves as an assistant coach for both the girls (2020-2022) and boys (2022-2023) varsity volleyball programs. During her time at OLHS, she has helped head coach Kathleen Miller accumulate an overall girls varsity record of 27-45 (14-20), and Matthew Hunt accrue an overall boys varsity record of 61-48 (23-7).

While at Oak Lawn, Corbett accumulated a wealth of experience within the coaching ranks. She led the way in player development and helped evaluate player performances.  She also was in charging of scouting opposing teams and assisting with the implementation of game strategies.

Before joining the Oak Lawn coaching staff, Corbett obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Saint Xavier University in August of 2020, with a degree in sports and fitness administration.  She also completed her Associates of Arts degree in May of 2018 from Moraine Valley Community College in business administration.  Corbett played collegiate volleyball for both institutions. 
 
Corbett is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Administration from University of St. Francis (Ill.), and is expected to graduate in December of 2024.
