Lauren LaRoy

* Begins his first season as USF women's soccer head coach in 2020-21

* Served five years (2015-19) as the women's soccer head coach at Moraine Valley Community College (MVCC) in Palos Hills, Ill.

* Led nationally-ranked MVCC to four National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Tournament appearances while also claiming four NJCAA Region IV and Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) Championship titles for the first time in the program's history

* Recognized four consecutive seasons (2015-18) as both the NJCAA Region IV and ISCC Coach of the Year.  Tabbed the ISCC Newcomer Coach of the Year in 2015 

* Compiled a 76-17-1 (.809 win pct.) in his five seasons at MVCC, which included a 52-3 mark in Region IV matches

* His MVCC teams excelled academically with a team cumulative grade point average (GPA) never lower than 3.00 with the 2019 team achieving the 10th highest GPA nationally in NJCAA women's soccer

* Has served as head coach for the Inter Football Club of Palos Hills, Ill., since 2011

* Was an assistant men's soccer coach at MVCC for three years (2012-15) prior to taking over the women's soccer program

* Graduated from Saint Xavier University (SXU) in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and was a four-year (2008-12) men's soccer letterwinner

* Attained first-team All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) twice (2011 and 2012) and was a second-team All-CCAC selection the two seasons (2009 and 2010) prior 

* Earned both all-state and conference Most Valuable Player recognition in back-to-back seasons (2006-07) along with being a three-time (2005-07) all-conference and all-sectional honoree at Plainfield (Ill.) Central High School where he graduated from in 2008
