Le’lani Harris joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2026 as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s basketball team. The 2026-27 season will mark Harris’ first year as the graduate assistant.
At St. Francis, Harris assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of game strategies.
A four-year member of the USF women’s basketball program, Harris started 76 of 102 games from 2022-26. During those seasons, Harris averaged 13.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg, while dishing out 138 assists and collecting 114 steals from the guard position. Harris was a 83.4 percent free throw shooter, sank 159-of-457 three-pointers (34.8 percent) and connected on 457-of-1,112 field goal attempts (41.1 percent), totaling 1,405 points as a Fighting Saint and allowing her to become the 10th highest-scoring player in USF women’s basketball program history. In 2024-25, she was named to the CCAC All-Conference second team squad, followed by a first team recognition in 2025-26. In 2022-23, Harris was a member of the league’s five-member All-Freshman team. As of the completion of the 2025-26 season, Harris currently holds the program record for free throw percentage in a season with a .917 (100-109) mark.
Upon graduation with Cum Laude honors in May of 2026 with a bachelor’s degree from University of St. Francis (Ill.) in Marketing, Harris will begin work on her Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from USF, and is expected to graduate in May of 2028.
