John Griffin joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2024 season as a strength and conditioning coach for the women’s basketball team. The 2025-26 season will mark Griffin’s second year with the team.
Prior to joining the Fighting Saints staff, Griffin spent 12 years (2012-2024) as the athletic trainer and sports performance trainer for the athletic teams at St. Rita High School in Chicago, Ill. He also was the facilities manager at St. Rita from 2019-2024.
In 2013, Griffin opened the John Griffin Training Company, where he has prepared more than 300 high school student-athletes for the collegiate level through individualized fitness plans.
At St. Francis, Griffin assists the program in organizing and overseeing all team strength and conditioning training sessions.
