Sebastian Mireles joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2023 as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer team. The 2025-26 season will mark Mireles’ third year assisting the program.
At St. Francis, Mireles assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of game strategies.
A four-year member and goalkeeper of the USF men’s soccer program, Mireles saw action in 425:39 minutes in the net during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, after splitting time between the varsity and reserve teams his first two years. While on varsity, he captured his first collegiate win on 10/1/22 vs. Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) and authored a total of 17 saves for his career.
Mireles graduated from the University of St. Francis (Ill.) in May of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. During his time as a student-athlete at USF, he received CCAC All-Academic and NAIA Scholar Athlete accolades three times. Mireles is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of St. Francis (Ill.), and is expected to graduate in May of 2027.
