Te Jones joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2024 as a graduate assistant coach for the men’s basketball team. The 2024-25 season will mark Jones’ first year as the graduate assistant.
At St. Francis, Jones assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of game strategies.
A one-year member of the USF men’s basketball program as a graduate transfer, Jones started all 26 games of the 2023-24 season. During that season, Jones averaged 12.8 ppg and 3.2 rpg, while dishing out 38 assists and collecting 21 steals from the guard position. Jones was a 73.1 percent free throw shooter, and connected on 52-of-124 three-point attempts (.419 percent).
In 2023, Jones graduated from NCAA Division III Defiance College (Ohio) with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management while being a four-year member of the Yellowjackets basketball program. At Defiance, Jones averaged 10.8 ppg, while shooting at a 42.5 percent clip from beyond the arc.
Jones is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of St. Francis (Ill.), and is expected to graduate in May of 2025.
