JOLET, Ill. --
Le'lani Harris scored 26 points with four three-pointers while
Coryn Fromm and
Tykara Harrison combined to add 35 more as the University of St. Francis women's basketball team secured its twentieth win of the 2025-26 season with its 99-71 victory over Holy Cross College (Ind.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night.
Aiding the effort was the Saints' 17-of-31 shooting effort (.548) before the intermission, led by Harris' explosion of 16 points during that timeframe. After going just 2-for-6 from the field in the game's first 10 minutes, the senior guard adjusted after the first quarter to post a perfect 1.000 shooting percentage (4-for-4) from the floor with all four of her shots coming from beyond the arc.
Along with Harris's 26-point performance, Fromm connected for six three-pointers en route to her provision of 18 points, while Harrison contributed 17 markers and five rebounds.
Riley Cwinski also registered double-digits in points with 12.
Holy Cross (12-10, 8-6 CCAC) had three players score in double figures, led by Kaiden Hanley's 17 points.
The Saints controlled the first quarter, jumping out to an early 14-4 lead and holding the scoring advantage in their favor throughout the first 10 minutes. HCC was able to close the gap to single digits, however, and bring a 23-15 deficit into the second period, but a 19-9 scoring run during the first five minutes of the frame gave the Saints a hefty 18-point advantage. A back-and-forth battle ensued before the two teams settled for a 51-34 USF lead at the halftime break.
The game's final twenty minutes never saw the Saints drop below a 14-point lead, while the scoring margin ballooned to as high as 35 points following a long-range dagger from Fromm in the game's final three minutes.
Like the score, the Saints also authored a huge advantage on the boards, producing a strong 48-35 difference.
Zhane Singer led the charge with her team-high seven rebounds, while
Mariah Pates followed up by grabbing four boards to go along with her three blocked shots.
