CHICAGO -- University of St. Francis'
Riley Hungate was recognized as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday. The award is the first of her career.
Hungate guided St. Francis to a pair of league victories by averaging 3.86 kills per set and attacking at a .355 clip. She also averaged 2.14 digs per game.
The senior outside hitter registered 12 kills and 11 digs in a three-set win over Governors State University last Tuesday. That was followed by a 15-kill effort, while hitting at a strong .433 percentage in the win over Olivet Nazarene.
Winners of four straight matches, USF is now 8-9 overall and 5-2 against conference competition.
