LOCKPORT, Ill. --- Behind two wins each from
Anna Bintsarovskaya and
Gabriella Noa, the University of St. Francis women's tennis team ended its regular season on a high note with a 6-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over Judson University on Saturday night at Challenge Fitness.
The pair got together for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles. That victory was combined with a forfeit win at the No. 2 spot for USF's first point of the game.
Judson (0-12, 0-4 CCAC) also had to take forfeit losses at Nos. 4 and 5 singles, putting the Saints (2-6, 1-3) up 3-0 even before starting singles play.
Bintsarovskaya claimed the first singles match played with her 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1.Â
Heather Heintz followed with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 3.
Noa closed out the match by outlasting Charlie Stirling at No. 2. Noa won 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.
