LOCKPORT, Ill. --- The University of St. Francis men's tennis team closed out its regular season dropping a 6-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference decision to Judson University on Saturday night at Challenge Fitness.
Lucas Fernandez-Pedrera fell just short of gaining a point for the Fighting Saints (0-8, 0-4 CCAC). He dropped a 6-3 decision in his first set at No. 2 singles before forcing a tie-breaker in Set 2, where he eventually lost 7-6 (7-4).
In the two other singles matches played,
Jedriel Bondoc came up on the short end of a 6-2, 6-1 decision in the top spot and
Jack O'Donnell suffered a 6-1, 6-0 defeat at No. 3.
Judson (13-8, 2-2) also won both doubles matches by 6-2 and 6-0 counts.
