LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The postseason honors continue to come in for University of St. Francis volleyball player Riley Hungate with the announcement of the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association NAIA All-Midnorth Region Team.

Hungate was named an honorable mention selection for the first time in her career.  Eight players gained the honorable mention designation as part of a total of 22 players capturing the region recognition.  The senior outside hitter was also a first-team pick of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, also her first such career honor.

The numbers that stood out the most on the season for Hungate were her 364 total kills and 404 total points.  That ranked her second-highest in both categories among all players in the 12-member league.  It also placed her tops on USF's team in both categories.  Among her other team-leading numbers, she averaged 3.40 points and 3.08 kills per set with 1,138 total attempts and posted an overall .948 reception percentage.

Hungate finished second on the St. Francis leaderboard in both service receptions (579) and digs (324), while ranking tenth and twelfth overall in the conference, respectively, over her 33 matches played, all of which were starts.  Hungate's other numbers included 22 service aces, 5 solo and 26 assist blocks, and a team-leading 11 double-doubles.

For her career, Hungate totaled 1,057 kills between her time at St. Francis and William Penn University (Iowa).  She reached the 1,000-kill plateau on Nov. 1 versus Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.).

On the season, USF finished 19-14 overall and 14-4 in conference play and advanced to the semifinal round of the CCAC Tournament.
