Saturday’s USF Women’s Basketball Game Canceled Due to Trinity Christian Forfeit

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Saturday's University of St. Francis women's basketball game against Trinity Christian College, that was scheduled for a 1 pm tip-off, has been canceled and ruled a forfeit in favor of St. Francis. Trinity Christian was forced to forfeit its game this weekend due to player unavailability within the Trolls program.

Per NAIA policy, the game will count as a win for the Saints in their overall record and in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings.

St. Francis (8-0, 3-0 CCAC), who is currently ranked No.18 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll, will turn its attention to an exhibition showdown on Tuesday (Nov. 25) against NCAA Division II University of Illinois Springfield, which brings a record of 1-3 into the game.
