LOCKPORT, Ill. --- The University of St. Francis men's tennis team secured its first win in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Tuesday afternoon when the Saints notched a 4-0 victory over Roosevelt University at the Challenge Fitness Tennis Courts.
Martin Rayos Del Sol claimed two of the victories, first teaming up with
Daniel Espinosa for a 6-4 win at No.2 doubles. He followed that with his own individual victory at No.5 singles, 6-2, 6-2.
Paul Wottgen was credited with a victory, as well, at No.3 singles. He was leading 6-2, 3-0 when his opponent had to retire.
The Saints (3-13, 1-2 CCAC) collected their other two victories at No.3 doubles and No.6 singles by default.
