LOCKPORT, Ill. --- NAIA No.15 ranked Cardinal Stritch University got the best of the University of St. Francis men's tennis team on Tuesday afternoon claiming a 4-0 victory at Challenge Fitness.
The Saints (3-14, 1-3 CCAC) won no more than four games in any of the six matches completed. The first time came at No.1 doubles, where the team of
Sebastian Bahamondes and
Erwan Le Guennec got within 6-4. Cardinal Stritch (7-9, 3-0) captured the other two doubles matches by 6-3 and 6-1 counts.
In singles action, both Bahamondes (No.2) and
Daniel Espinosa (No.3) dropped 6-3, 6-1 decisions with Cardinal Stritch also winning at No. 1, 6-0, 6-2.
