JOLIET, Ill. --- The much anticipated season opener for the University of St. Francis football team will take a little longer to happen than expected. Due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, next Saturday's (Sept. 4) matchup with the University of St. Thomas has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
