LOCKPORT, Ill.---- The University of St. Francis women's tennis team cruised to its third consecutive victory with a 7-0 decision over Bethel University on Thursday afternoon at Challenge Fitness Indoor Courts. 
 

The Saints were able to take two out of three doubles matches. The duos of Nikkie Christiansen (JR/Rockford, Ill.)/Maria Kuzminskaya (SR/Saint Petersburg, Russia) and Denisse Lizano (SO/Quito, Ecuador)/Kiana Sikich(FR/Mokena, Ill.) earned 6-2 victories at the Nos.2 and 3 spots to claim the first point of the match.
 

In singles action, Lizano proved why she was named CCAC Player of the Week on Wednesday. Her singles match was the first to finish as she cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 decision over Kayla Heckaman for her second victory of the day. She has now won four straight singles contests. 
 

Lizano was joined in the double-win column by Christiansen, Kuzminskaya and Sikich, all of whom took care of their opponents in singles action. Yashleen Kheterpal (SR/Bhilai, India) earned a straight-set victory at No.5 singles, as well, and Grace Monahan (JR/New Lenox, Ill.) rounded things off with her first victory of the season at No.6 singles. 
 

USF (3-4, 2-1 CCAC) returns to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play against Olivet Nazarene University on Tuesday (April 6). The match is scheduled to begin at 12 pm at Challenge Fitness.
