LOCKPORT, Ill.---- Returning home after its first win of the season Saturday night at. St. Ambrose University, the University of St. Francis women's tennis team made it two wins in less than 24 hours with its 7-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference decision over Roosevelt University on Sunday morning at the Challenge Fitness Indoor Courts.

The tandem of Denisse Lizano (SO/Quito, Ecuador) and Kiana Sikich (FR/Mokena Ill.) earned their second doubles victories in a row in the No.2 slot with their 6-0 set win.  Roosevelt defaulted in the No.3 spot allowing USF to pick up its first point of the day.

In singles action, the Saints were able to claim wins in all six slots for the first time this season, including a default in the last position. Yashleen Kheterpal (SR/Bhilai, India) started things with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No.5. Kheterpal has not dropped a singles match in her last three competitions.

Sikich and Lizano were also able to pick up win number two on the day at Nos.3 and No.4.

Despite not getting the victory in their doubles match, Nikkie Christiansen (JR/Rockford, Ill.) and Maria Kuzminskaya (SR/Saint Petersburg, Russia) both grabbed wins in singles play. Christiansen earned a 6-3, 6-1 decision in the No.1 position. Kuzminskaya rounded things off at No.2, winning both sets 6-2 on the way to her second singles victory of the season.

The Saints (2-4, 2-2 CCAC) return to Challenge Fitness on April 9 when they welcome Olivet Nazarene University for a CCAC matchup beginning at 2:30 pm.
