Â
Justene Charlesworth (JR/Wanatah, Ind.) and Leah Sims (SR/Chicago, Ill.) provided the majority of the long-range connections with six and four treys, respectively. The former hit her six in 12 attempts en route to a game-high 20 points. Sims was the only other Saint to score in double figures finishing with 12 markers.
Â
A 21-point second quarter enabled head coach Steve Brook's team to turn an 18-10 lead after one quarter into a 39-17 advantage at the break. Lincoln, which was playing its first game of the season, never mounted a serious threat in the second half.
