JOLIET, Ill. --- Mount Mercy University came through with the two-out hit all afternoon, tallying 12 of its 15 runs in that situation to defeat the University of St. Francis baseball team 15-3 and take the rubber game of the three-game series Sunday (March 1) afternoon at DuPage Medical Group Field.
Nick Sueppel continued his offensive prowess with three more hits and three runs batted in to finish the weekend series going 9-for-12 with seven runs batted in. Cael Lambe was equally as hot, recording his second straight 2-for-4, three-run, one-RBI game to finish the three games with seven hits in 11 at bats, six runs scored and two runs batted in.
