Rahmel Davis

Rahmel Davis joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2025 as a graduate assistant coach for the men’s basketball team.  The 2025-26 season will mark Davis’ first year as the graduate assistant.

At St. Francis, Davis assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of game strategies. 

A two-year member of the USF men’s basketball program as a transfer from Bakersfield College (Calif.), Davis started 49 of 57 games from 2023-25.  During those seasons, Davis averaged 14.6 ppg and 4.4 rpg, while dishing out 97 assists and collecting 19 steals from the forward position.  Davis was a 75.3 percent free throw shooter, sank 22-of-44 three-pointers and connected on 297-of-569 field goal attempts (.522 percent), totaling 832 points as a Fighting Saint.  In 2023-24 and 2024-25, he was named to the CCAC All-Conference second team squads.

Upon graduation in December of 2025 with a bachelor’s degree from University of St. Francis (Ill.) in Liberal Studies, Davis will begin work on his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from USF, and is expected to graduate in May of 2027.
