Justin Pringle joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2025 as an assistant coach for the football team to the wide receivers. The 2025-26 season will mark Pringles’ first year as assistant coach.
At St. Francis, Pringle assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, assisting in training sessions, and implementation of game strategies.
Prior to joining the Fighting Saints staff, Pringle spent the past year as a strength/conditioning coach and an operations support specialist at DI Training Fox Valley in Aurora, Ill. During this time, he developed and implemented customized strength and conditioning programs for athletes of various sports and skill levels while collaborating with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and coaches.
Pringle began his coaching career in the spring of 2024 as a graduate assistant coach at Saint Xavier University where he assisted the program in employing advanced coaching methods while guiding athletes with proper nutrition habits.
Pringle graduated from Saint Xavier University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, and was a five-year member of the Cougar football team. During his collegiate career at SXU, Pringle helped the Cougars to four conference championships and four playoff appearances. His team was ranked in the Top 25 nationally each season, and ranked as high as No. 5 in 2019. Pringle, a wide receiver, was a two-time NAIA All-American (2022, 2023) and three-time conference selection (2021, 2022, 2023) and was named the Mid-States Football Association Conference Player of the Year in 2023. He was also a two-time MSFA all-academic honoree in 2020 and 2023.
