Hannah Swiatek joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2025 as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s basketball team. The 2025-26 season will mark Swiatek’s first year as the graduate assistant.
At St. Francis, Swiatek assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of game strategies.
A four-year member of the USF women’s basketball program, Swiatek saw action in 113 games between 2019-23. During that time, Swiatek averaged 1.7 rpg, while collecting 87 assists and 72 steals from the guard position. Swiatek was a 39.1 percent shooter, and connected on 31.0 percent of three-point attempts.
During her four years as a Saint, Swiatek was a member of three NAIA National Tournament qualifying teams that produced an overall record of 101-25 and two Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament titles. In 2022-23, she was named to the CCAC All-Conference honorable mention squad.
Swiatek graduated from the University of St. Francis (Ill.) in May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Upon graduation, she began her career in the fall of 2023 as a Neonatal ICU nurse, a position in which she currently still serves.
Swiatek is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Nursing from University of St. Francis (Ill.), and is expected to graduate in May of 2027.
