Desiree Anderson

Desiree Anderson joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2025 as an assistant coach for the volleyball team. The 2025-26 season will mark Anderson’s first year assisting the program.

At St. Francis, Anderson assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of strength & conditioning strategies.

A five-year member of the USF volleyball program, Anderson played in all but four matches for a total of 158.  In that time, she eclipsed the century mark in both digs (1,720) and kills (1,591) and currently holds the No. 4 spot in the latter category and the No. 9 position in digs in USF's career record books.  She has also totaled 212 blocks in her 579 sets played.  Anderson was a four-time CCAC All-Conference first team selection as well as a four-time AVCA All-Region recipient.

Anderson graduated from the University of St. Francis (Ill.) in May of 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in social work.  During her five years as a student-athlete at USF, she was a four-time NAIA and CCAC Scholar-Athlete, a two-time CSC Academic All-District award honoree, and a ten-time USF Dean’s List recipient.  She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from University of St. Francis (Ill.), and is expected to graduate in May of 2027.
