Austin Hatcher joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2024 as an assistant coach for the women’s track & field team. The 2025-26 season will mark Hatcher’s second year assisting the program.
At St. Francis, Hatcher assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of strength & conditioning strategies.
Hatcher graduated from the University of St. Francis (Ill.) in May of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in values-based management after spending one year at Trinity International University. During his time as a student-athlete at USF, he competed in a multitude of events for both the indoor and outdoor track & field programs, including High Jump, Long Jump, Discus Throw, Pole Vault, Javelin Throw, Shot Put, Heptathlon, 60m Hurdles, 110m Hurdles, as well as the 60, 200, 400, and 1000 runs.
Outside of coaching track & field, Hatcher is a certified personal trainer.
