Theron Mitchell joined the Fighting Saints in July of 2025 as an assistant coach for the men’s & women’s bowling teams. The 2025-26 season will mark Mitchell’s first year assisting each program.
At St. Francis, Mitchell assists the program in coordination of practice plans, individual player development, and implementation of strength & conditioning strategies.
A five-year member of the USF men’s bowling program, Mitchell was a member of USF’s 2020-21 NAIA national championship team and 2021-22 NAIA national runner-up squad. Throughout his collegiate career (2018-2023), Mitchell authored four 300 games and recorded three All-Tournament Team performances, including a first-place finish at the Hammer Golden Eagle Invite. In 2018, he also claimed TNBA youth national runner-up honors.
Mitchell graduated from the University of St. Francis (Ill.) in May of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
