JOLIET, Ill. -- All five members of the University of St. Francis men's golf team placed amongst the Top 10 individual finishers and helped lead the Saints to a second-place team finish at USF's own Fighting Saints Fall Classic on Tuesday afternoon at Wedgewood Golf Course.
Michael Kuchar led the way with his 75 to finish in sole possession of fourth place overall. Kuchar was two strokes ahead of
Jared Krison, who placed in the fifth position with his round of 77.
Owen Haag (sixth place) notched the other sub-80 round for USF with his 78, while
Nathan Hock (eighth place) and
Grant Siegel (ninth place) rounded out St. Francis' top five with scores of 80 and 84, respectively.
Governors State University captured the meet title with a team score of 301. That was nine strokes better than St. Francis, which finished at 310.
A total of three teams and 18 golfers made up the field.
