Pfaff, Holtz Gain All-Conference Accolades

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The University of St. Francis men's bowling team continues to make a name for itself in its second year within the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference as it closed out the 2025-26 regular season by claiming three total awards on the WHAC men's bowling honor roll, which was announced by the league office on Friday.  Jalen Pfaff was named to the five-member first team, while Dylan Holtz was represented on the five-member second team.  Pfaff was also named to the WHAC Champion of Character Team.

Pfaff authored the second-best average among all WHAC bowlers during the 2025-26 regular season with his 213.3 mark.  Of the 10 regular season tournaments that the Saints competed in, the senior finished among the top 10 percent of performers in eight of those meets while registering a Top 10 overall placement in five.  He also knocked down 200-plus pins in 35 of his 44 games.

Pfaff's top finish of the year came at the Las Vegas Collegiate Shoot-Out (Dec. 20-21), where he placed third overall among 478 competitors with a 237.0 average and gained all-tournament accolades while helping lead the Saints to the Tournament Championship in bracket play.  His best single-game score came at the same tournament when he fired a 295 after carrying a perfect game into the 11th frame.

Pfaff also earned four WHAC Bowler of the Week awards during the 2025-26 regular season and was named to four separate All-Tournament Teams.

Holtz finished the regular season eighth overall in league averages with his 204.6 reading.  Of the 10 regular season tournaments that the Saints competed in, the senior finished among the top 25 percent of competitors in four of those meets while registering a Top 15 overall placement in two.  He also knocked down 200-plus pins in 10 of his 27 games.

The La Grange Park, Ill. native's best finish of the year came at the WHAC Michigan Open (Dec. 6), where he placed 12th overall among 125 competitors with a 218.0 average.  His best single-game score came at the same tournament when he fired a 258.
