Saints Gain Top Four Finish In CCAC All-Sports Cup Standings

CHICAGO --- Bolstered by winning the second-most Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships during the 2023-24 season, the University of St. Francis athletics program earned a fourth-place finish in the league's All-Sports Cup standings, which were announced Friday afternoon.

The Fighting Saints claimed titles in men's and women's cross country as well as regular-season crowns in baseball and softball, the latter of which was shared with Saint Xavier University.  USF also won the CCAC Baseball Tournament last month.

The only program that gained more championships was Olivet Nazarene, which collected seven titles en route to the CCAC All-Sports Cup crown.  The Tiger program totaled 105.0 points in the standings, with Saint Xavier University and St. Ambrose University next in line with 92.0 and 90.0 points, respectively.  The latter two programs each captured four championships.
