Noa, Christiansen Lead Saints Past Roosevelt

LOCKPORT, Ill. --- Nikkie Christiansen and Gabriella Noa each collected a pair of victories on Wednesday afternoon to lead the University of St. Francis women's tennis team to a 6-1 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win over Roosevelt University at Challenge Fitness.

The two combined for the only victory that the Saints would need to gain their first point of the match with their 6-0 decision in the No.2 slot. USF's other doubles win came by default at No.3.

The Saints (6-9, 2-1 CCAC) then went on to net five of the six singles matches in the minimum two sets. After winning by default at No.6, USF got victories from Maria Kuzminskaya (6-0, 6-0) and Yashleen Kheterpal (6-4, 6-3) at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.

Christiansen picked up her second win of the match at No.3 singles with her 6-2, 6-4 decision, while Noa did the same in the No.2 slot, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
