HAMMOND, Ind. --- NCAA II Purdue University Northwest dealt the University of St. Francis men's tennis team a 7-0 defeat in the dual-match opener for both programs
on Sunday afternoon.
How It Happened
-Purdue Northwest claimed all three doubles matches, but not before a fight at the No.1 spot.
Erwan Le Guennec and
Daniel Espinosa battled before falling 7-6 (1).
-In the other two doubles matches, the Pride won 6-2 and 6-4.
-In singles action,
Paul Wottgen was the only Saint to win a set. He opened with a 6-4 victory in the No.3 slot before falling in the second set 6-4 and then the tiebreaker 10-5.
